The Korean Medical Meetup is a program run by the Korean government to offer foreigners Free traditional Korean medicine experience.
Life as a foreigner in Korea is relatively comfortable. I was able to spend almost two months without a Sim card. One of the perks (perhaps the most important one) of living in Korea is the fantastic and very affordable health care. Coming from South Africa where medical care is so expensive, Korea is healthcare heaven for me. I can get a lot taken care of without burning a hole in my pocket.
The latest and popular healthcare perk for foreigners and international travelers in Korea is the Korean Medicine Meetup.
The Korean Medicine Meetup is operated by the Korean government and offers free traditional medicine experiences. It is an opportunity for foreigners in Korea to learn and experience free traditional Korean medicine experience.
Here are some of the things you can expect during the Free Traditional Korean Medicine Experience meetup:
Relax and get pulse measurement for health status diagnosis,
Meet, mingle and make friends with other foreigners while making an Oriental Medical lotion
Fulfill your Asian movie fantasies by getting an acupuncture treatment
Let your hair down while sipping on the Oriental medicinal tea
Save yourself some Won by trying on the Korean Traditional Clothes
If you’re interested in being part of the meetup or simply want more than just my word of it; you can RSVP and get more information here
